Source: http://obits.pennlive.com/obituaries/pennlive/obituary-print.aspx?n=anthony-r-bellezza&pid=179540631 Donna (Hines) Daley 47, of Hershey, PA won her battle with cancer on March 21, 2016 and is now safely home with the Lord. She won her battle with cancer in the following ways; it could not take away her courage, ambition, dignity, love of life, family, her sense of humor or her beautiful smile. She used cancer as a vehicle to take her home to the Lord. She was the daughter of Carol Zaharuk and the Late William J. Hines. She was the loving and devoted wife of Marty Daley for 28 years and is survived by her three children, James (27), Corinne (24) and Tyler (12). Donna was the greatest mother and she made it her life's work to raise her three beautiful children to be caring, and respectful to everyone they meet. She was very proud of her children and loved them so unconditionally and would not rest until she knew they would be okay.
Donna is also survived by her brother William Hines (Lori) of Lebanon, NJ, Sister Patricia Sloan (Brad) of Hershey, PA. She dearly loved her 17 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephew. Born in Livingston, NJ, Donna was raised in Hopatcong, NJ, where she graduated from Hopatcong High School in 1986. Donna and her family moved to Hershey, PA in 2000. Donna worked at the Milton Hershey School in Food Services and Tender Years Day Care for many years and her love for the kids is something that always made her smile at work. Donna was also a Girl Scout Leader for many years in Hershey, PA. Donna loved country music and chick flicks. She also loved her dog, Sophie. Donna had the most amazing smile and that smile lit up any room she entered. Throughout her battle with cancer, Donna never lost her smile and that amazing sense of humor. Donna never once uttered the words "why me" when she discussed her battle. Donna worked hard to help raise money for her friends at Free to Breathe, with the hopes of someday finding a cure for lung cancer, even while she knew that cure would not come in time to save her own life. In fact, Donna's WE GOT THIS team took first place at the Central PA's Free to Breathe 5k in Harrisburg in 2015. This would not have been possible without the tremendous support of her family and friends, who rallied around this great cause, with the mission to double lung cancer survival by 2022. Visitations will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 12noon - 2PM and also from 6-8PM in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, of Hershey.
