Mary T. Narcum of Hershey, PA, died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 9, 2013. She was 87 years old. Born April 12, 1926, in Ardmore, PA, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Celia Grady. Patrick and Celia emigrated from Galway Bay, Ireland, to the United States and were married in 1922. In 1944, Mary graduated from West Catholic High School for girls in Philadelphia, PA. Mary attended Bryn Mawr Nursing School in Bryn Mawr, PA, and spent several years in private duty nursing care. She was married to the late Edward J. Narcum.
She enjoyed music and was an accomplished piano and harp player. She also enjoyed spending time with her 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Ergood, wife of Laurence of Cherry Hill, NJ, Suzanne Ioffreda, wife of Michael of Hershey, PA, her sons Edward Narcum, Jr., husband of Kathy of Turnersville, NJ, John Narcum, husband of Donna of Chadds Ford, PA, and Robert Narcum, husband of Ann of Exton, PA. She was loved by all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and will be dearly missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 14th, at 12:00PM, in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey. Viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8PM and from 10:30 - 11:30AM Thursday morning in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Hershey. Interment will be Friday at Noon in Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mary Narcum may be made to St. Joan of Arc School, 359 W. Robert J. "Fuzz" Fulton, Sr., 76, of Palmyra died Monday November 11, 2013 in Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, PA. He was the husband of the late Mary H. Bonawitz Fulton who died in 2004. Born in Lebanon on March 29, 1937, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Etzweiler Fulton.
Bob was the owner of Robert J. Fulton Chrysler-Plymouth, Lebanon and prior to that he held several positions with Klick-Lewis, Palmyra. He received numerous awards from the automobile industry and held positions as president, vice president, and treasurer for various automobile clubs. He received a certificate of graduation in Dealership Management from the University of Delaware. He was a 1955 graduate of Annville High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit, Palmyra and the Knights of Columbus. His love for NASCAR and going out to breakfast with his friends and lunch with classmates will be treasured memories. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and family. Surviving are three daughters Debora wife of Robert Williams of Hummelstown, Pam wife of Mark Zody of Dillsburg, Lori wife of Patrick Webber of Poolesville, MD, a sister Betty wife of Melvin Herr of Ephrata, and seven grandchildren Barret, Denton, and Madeline Williams; Connor Zody; Alexis and Dalton Webber; and Nicole Fulton. He was preceded in death by a son Robert J. Fulton, Jr. and a brother Donald Fulton. Viewing will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013, from 10:15am-11:15am at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA 17003. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 12:00 Noon in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033. Steckler, 78, of Harrisburg, passed away on November 8, 2013 in the Golden Living Center, Camp Hill.
She was born February 10, 1935 in Navoo, PA, daughter of the late Romain and Ruth (Hyde) Miller. Betty graduated from Mansfield University, and retired from teaching after over 30 years at the East Hanover Elementary School. She also enjoyed selling Avon for +30 years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, Hershey. Betty also worked at Hersheypark and the Giant Center for over 20 years. She always greeted everyone with a smile and enjoyed talking to everyone. Betty is survived by; daughter, June A. Steckler of Harrisburg; son, James P. Steckler, Jr. and his wife Jane of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Sara M. Steckler; brother, Robert (Mary Ester) Miller, brother, Carl (Helen) Miller, many nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, brothers, Allen & Ralph Miller and sister, Arlene Schaner. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, of Hershey, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Born in Harrisburg on August 21, 1960, he was the son of Charles Werner Staudenmeier of Hershey and the late Shirley M. Staudenmeier.
An attorney and employee of Nationwide Insurance Company, he had recently celebrated 25 years with the company. He was a graduate of Hershey High School, Pennsylvania State University and The Dickinson School of Law. Kayaking with his faithful dog Gunther was enjoyed for years at his home on Cranberry Lake in Ontario, Canada. In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother Raymond, and his wife Darlene; sisters, Katherine Wellnitz and her husband, Rudy and Ann Charles and her husband, Tom; four nieces and four nephews and several godchildren. Viewing will be on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 1-2 pm in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Hershey. DiDomenico, 88, of Hershey, passed away on, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Mechanicsburg.
She was born October 16, 1925 in Palmyra, a daughter of the late Herman and Mable (Kaylee) Kramer. Fannie retired from Hershey Foods after 30 years of service. She was a member of the St. Joan of Arc Church in Hershey and the Areba Club. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Nick DiDomenico; daughter, Phyllis DiDomenico Karagiannis; grandson, Angelo and wife Tamie Karagiannis; granddaughter, Tina Karagiannis; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jimmy, & Jacob Karagiannis; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 8 siblings. Fannie lived a good life; always ready to help her family in any way she could. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at 11 am in her church at 359 W. Areba Avenue in Hershey. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. Born November 8, 1950 in Canton, Ohio, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Betty Jane (Shope) DeMario. Retired from Dauphin County Children and Youth Services, he was a member of St. John of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey and East Hanover Township Autumn Leaves. Surviving are his wife Linda S. (Wolf) DeMario; brother Dr. Charles L. DeMario of Hubbard, Ohio; children Anthony C. DeMario and companion Lynda Hudak of Torrington, Connecticut and Angelina M., wife of Micheal Gonzales of Hershey; and grandsons Riley and Gabriel Gonzales. Barbara was born in Shamokin on December 4, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Pajka Klynoski. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Hershey. She enjoyed playing bingo, knitting, and traveling. She was a good cook. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Sobotor who passed away on October 5, 2012; daughter, Mary Ann Sobotor. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Sharon A. Stalnecker of Hummelstown and Patricia A. Bottiglia of Middletown; two grandsons, Nicholas Stalnecker of Rochester, NY, and Andrew Stalnecker of Etters ; two granddaughters Lisa and Kaitlyn Bottiglia of Middletown. Visitation and Services will be at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. Pronio, 97, a lifelong resident of Hershey, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 in the Lebanon Valley Home in Annville.
She was born February 19, 1916 in Hummelstown, daughter of the late Alfredo and Hilda (Thomas) Pronio. Regina graduated from Hershey High School - class of 1934, and went right to work for Hershey Chocolate and continued working until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Hershey, and served as church organist for 58 years. Other memberships include the Areba Club; Derry Twp. Historical Society; Hershey AARP; and a Hershey Medical Center Volunteer. Regina is survived by; nieces and nephews, Dr. Tom Modesto, Loretta Doty, Claire Padial, Regina Bowman, Jill Susi and Harry Susi; brother, Claudio Pronio; step-mother, Lidia Pronio. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Alma and Norma. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., in Hershey, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. She was born September 25, 1929 in Marinette, WI, daughter of the late Samuel and Ameilia (Holub) Klaver. Mrs. Everson was a graduate of Marinette High School and retired from the position of office manager from Highspire Homes after 41 years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church. Joyce is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Everson; a son, Michael Shane Everson of Duncannon, PA; and several nieces & nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 12:00 noon in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Interment will be in Menominee, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, George John Craig, who died in 1990.
She was an active member of the Country Meadows of Hershey and Masonic Village Communities, loved roller skating, dance, nature, museums and Irish Pubs. Above all she was deeply dedicated to her family, church and community. Surviving are her four children and families: Christina Estelle Avella, and husband, Nicola, and their children, Alicia and Nicola; Margaret Craig Deegan and husband, Patrick, and their children, Patrick and Jacob; George Craig and his wife, Candace, and their children, Jessica and George; Timothy Craig and his wife, Jill, and their children, Ethan, Michael, and Caitlin. There are also six great grandchildren surviving her. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4:00PM, on Thursday, October 3rd in the St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey PA, 17033. Private interment will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. There will be no viewing. Friends will be received beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday evening at the home of Timothy and Jill Craig.
