Born Judy Ann Nangle, September 18, 1943 in Aldan, PA, Judy is a 1961 graduate of Landsdowne - Aldan High School, The Charles Morris Price School of Journalism in Philadelphia, PA and Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Hulett of 30 years; children, Michael Accorsi of Hershey, PA, Sherlyn Accorsi DiPaolo and husband Geoff of Marlton, NJ, Patrick Accorsi and husband David Cunningham of New Castle, NH; granddaughters, Alexandra Accorsi and Adrianna DiPaolo of Marlton, NJ; brothers, Thomas Nangle, John Nangle, Joe Nangle and wife Marian. Judy was a copywriter for Strawbridge and Clothier in Philadelphia, and then continued her career in the News and Sports Department of St Joseph’s University. She later became the Public Relations Director of Misericordia Hospital and was also member of the Advertising Club of Philadelphia. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Harris Nangle McGinnis Fralich and Joseph Nangle. Judy lived her life lead by her faith, compassion for others, and a love for the simple things in life. As a teenager, Mom zipped through her hometown on her shiny red Vespa on the way to field hockey practice or and then danced the night away on American Bandstand in the 1950’s. In June of 1968, she waited through the night in Washington D.C. to see the funeral procession of Robert F. Kennedy and was honored to participate in the march that followed. Judy was a talented watercolor artist, and in the early 1990’s traveled around the world as a Christian missionary visiting China, Russia, and several countries throughout the Middle East. Later in life, Judy wrote human interest stories for her local newspaper highlighting residents who achieved great things or some that just gave quietly but made a positive impact on the community. Judy was also an active member of Freedom Valley Church in Gettysburg, PA. Our Mom lived with a genuine enthusiasm, infectious optimism, and a dedication to living life to the fullest. She truly did make each precious day count and her smile and laughter brightened every room she entered. We find comfort that Mom is finally home with the Lord, rejoicing and dancing again. “May the road rise to meet you Mom. May the wind be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. May the rain fall softly on your fields; And until we meet again May you keep safe in the gentle loving arms of God. For everything there is a season; A time for meeting; A time to say goodbye; In all things God is near, always guiding your way.” On February 8, 2021, Judy will be laid to rest at Hershey Cemetery with a private service.
